CTA of Michigan   is a voice for justice, inclusion and stronger representation of the laity in Church leadership. We

• Provide educational opportunities through monthly meetings, newsletters and conferences.
• Celebrate creative liturgies
• Take public stands on important issues.
• Communicate with the Cardinal and Presbyterial Council asking for full disclosure of fiscal expenditures.
• Stand in solidarity with those women and married men who feel called to priestly ordination.

Call to Action is a national Catholic Church reform movement to advocates for reforms in the Catholic Church such as the ordination of women, optional celibacy for priests, more focus on the Church's social justice teaching, and consultation with the Catholic people on Church decision-making and human sexuality issues.   For more information on CTA's vision and goals see CTA-USA , the national organization.

CTA-Mi is a prophetic voice committed to the formation of inclusive Catholic communities of faith in accordance with Vatican II theology.  This mission, rooted in Scripture, Eucharist, and ritual, compels us to reach out with compassion, empowerment and justice.  Accepted by Board Consensus, January10, 2009
